Sorry for the huge gap in posts. Hotel wi-fi is rather spotty but now that I’m comfortably situated in my flat, I have lots of catching up to do. Sooo during my last day in Paris, I was determined to visit some of the places I missed the first time round.

My dad and I were pretty excited to see the sculptures at Musée Rodin. The museum had an indoor exhibit and a garden full of sculptures.

Here’s the famous thinker in all his glory!

After an early morning of sightseeing, I was determined to have an authentic crêpe lunch at West Country Girl which I had read all about on Yelp the night before.

Finding the crêperie was quite stressful, but in the end, well worth it. I had a delicious leek and fromage crêpe, an amazing salted butter caramel crêpe served with a glass of cider. Great food & service - I definitely recommend this place!

Sacre Coeur at night is always splendid. Many people come here to see the Basilica and relax on the hill that overlooks the city.

In the movie Amelie, there’s an awesome scene here where Amelie returns a book to Nico in a treasure hunt sort of fashion involving lots of climbing up the steps. Such a cute & quirky movie (:

With all this time spent using the public transportation, I’ve definitely learned my lesson. Riding the metro can either be super convenient or frustratingly difficult. People crowding around you and running frantically to their destinations is not my kind of thing so make sure you don’t get caught up in the chaos and forget to check the map. My dad and I accidentally went the wrong direction once and we ended up in Zone 2 outside Paris which was not covered with our tickets. Apparently at some stations, you’re required to validate your ticket to enter and exit. Unfortunately, we ended up stuck inside with no way of exiting or buying a ticket either. I managed to slip out through the doors but if I had eaten just a couple more pastries, I’d be a goner. So I guess it does pay to be slim in France…

And that’s it. À Bientôt, Paris!
